Here’s some pictures from the last few days of our Capstone trip!

Painting and lawn work at the Tedder House. We had the privilege to help get this home ready to welcome foster kids into it. Emily (to the left of me in light purple pull over) is the owner of this home and soon will be a foster mom. She just got word that she will be able to have kids move in in 2 weeks!!! She is wanting to have as many kids as she’s allowed to have in this home at all times.

Shannon is the man standing next to her. He came to give an estimate on fencing. He was suppose to go to a different house but his boss called and changed plans and had him come to the Tedder house. He said this house had so many emotional connections to him. When he was 17 he was kicked our and a lady had this same exact house as a border house. She took in many people for very cheap rent. He said that she basically raised him. When he found out this was going to be a foster home for children he said that meant so much to him and he was so happy to hear that home will be continuing to bring people into it. We were able to pull weeds and plant new things in the garden. The mailbox was falling over and we were able to get it up and standing. This doll house had writing all over it and I was able to use my painting skills to paint it to look like new. I’m so happy I was able to paint this and bless a child with it. On Wednesday, we went to Piedmont park to help the green team. We dug up old plants and planted new ones. As well as prune the bushes and get them looking nice.

While volunteering we met our new friend Amanda who has moved to Atlanta to get into the acting career. Thursday, we started our day at IHOP (international house of prayer). We thought starting our day in prayer over each other, things in life and over our ministry we would be doing with the dream team that night would be a great way to go into it. That evening we went and volunteered with the Atlanta Dream Team. We went out into Atlanta and handed out food to those who have found themselves homeless. While there we also got to talk to them and pray over them. It was a great experience and the people we served alongside have such a big heart for everyone we met. A few people I met were, Michelle and her husband, Carrie and Sharon. Please keep them in your prayers to get off the streets and recognize Gods present in their life. Also for Michelle to connect with her sister that she lost contact with.

Today we are going to the park to do worship, give free hugs and prayers. Keep us in your prayers to reach those around us and just show Gods love through what we are doing. Pictures from today will be coming soon!

I am not fully funded for CGA yet. Please consider partnering with me so I can become fully funded within the week. You can do that by going to my main page on my blog and clicking donate. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers. I really appreciate all you have done for me. Please let me know how I can also be praying for you.
